Hi-Way Children's Ministry offers programs for children of all ages. Each program has a unique focus, and when combined with each other, children are presented with a balance of Worship, Biblical Teaching, Discipleship, Relationship Building and Outreach. Hi-Way Children’s Ministry is dedicated to providing your children with exciting, fun and worthwhile teaching without compromising in the area of safety. “We Love Kids” is a policy that has been put in place for the protection of children. Within this policy there are strict guidelines regarding child to volunteer ratio as well as volunteer screening restrictions. Our World takes place Sunday during both of our morning services. It is for children age 2 right up to grade 8. The three key ingredients of the new curriculum this year are:
1. I need to make wise choices.
2. I can trust God no matter what.
3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
With a combination of large group and small group teaching, children will receive a foundation of who God is and how He can lead and guide us in our everyday lives–all this while having a great time and hanging out with other kids of the same age.

New this year there is a 2 year old transition class designed to make the switch from the nursery to Our World easier and simpler. As well, there is an awesome small group for kids in grades 6-8. The curriculum is based around a book called “Do Hard Things”. It challenges kids to rebel against the typical low expectations that society has put on them and to step out in faith to do things that are challenging.

Super Star’s is a brand new program around children being taught and experiencing worship taking place on Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30pm. This program is for children JK - Grade 5. Children will take part in small groups based around their own interests. Each week they will learn about worship; how they use the gifts and abilities that God has given them to glorify his name. They will also have the opportunity to take what they have learned and practically put it to the test on Sunday morning during large group times. Some of the small groups the children will be able to be in are... choir, drama, sound/props and dance. We truly will be teaching children to “Shine like stars in the universe” Philippians 2:15
The cost for this program is $15 for the entire year.

Nursery exists to provide safe and loving care to young children, giving parents peace of mind and allowing them to take part in a time of worship during Sunday morning services. The Nursery is located on the main floor of the building and is available for children birth to 24 months. As well, the nursery is equipped with an area for parents to change and feed their children.
