Trick & Treaty – Pastor Craig Pitts

Joshua 9:1-16
God is still teaching us through the Old Testament people.  Jesus wants us to come into a place of abundance and blessing.  Joshua in this passage is leading the Israelites from desert living to abundant living – Jesus leads us from desert living to abundant living.
Satan means Deceiver.  He is a wolf in a sheep costume.  He is darkness in an ‘angel of light’ costume.

The Supernatural – Pastor Randy Raycroft

1 Samuel 28:1-25
The supernatural is real.  There is evilness in the world and there is good in the world.  Fill yourself with the things of the Lord.
What is a ghost?  A soul or spirit of a dead person or animal (Ecc 12:7; 3:21).  Jesus made reference to ghosts in the Bible.
The spiritual realm is real.  Angels are real and sent to serve us.  Human spirits are created when the physical body is formed.  Fallen angels or demons are the one third of the

Thanksgiving – Pastor Randy Raycroft

Psalm 100
Thanksgiving is a day set aside to thank God for His blessings, provision, protection, etc.  But so often our attitudes need to be checked because we want more things.  Psalm 100 was a song that was sung when the people entered the tabernacle for their festivals.
1. The foundation of our thanksgiving – the Lord is God and He is good.
2. Five thanksgiving directives:
a) Shout for joy to the Lord

The Supernatural – Pastor Randy Raycroft

On the beginning of the audio is a testimony by Ibukun Ogunsina of God’s intervention in her family’s life.
“Take away the supernatural and what remains is the unnatural.”
My willingness + my weakness + God’s will & God’s supernatural power = my expanded territory
1. Genesis 22:13 – There’s a ram in your thicket
2. 1 Kings 18:44 – There’s a storm for your drought
3.  Jonah 1:17 – There’s a sea of blessing
4. Acts 16:25-26 – There’s going to be an earthquake in your prison
5. John 6:7-13 – There’s going to be bread in your basket

The Art of Neighbouring – Pastor Randy Raycroft

Luke 10:30-34
From the story of the Good Samaritan, Pastor Randy teaches us the Art of Neighbouring.  Friends support and encourage you (Ecc 4:9-12) but we each need a friend to whom we can serve (Mat 5:43-44)

Qualities of a Sound Church – Pastor Phil Macarthur

Titus 2:1-8
1. We need to model Godly lives.
2. If you are going to model it…you have to live it.
3. Accountability is.. helping each other walk in the Spirit & exhibit fruit – Galatians 5:13-6:5  When we are accountable we must open our lives up to others.
4.  It’s not easy.  Galatians 4:12-16; James 5:19-20

JOY – Pastor Randy Raycroft

Nehemiah 12:27-29
There are many oxymoron phrases we use like jumbo shrimp, bittersweet, living dead but there is one that we should never see or hear “Grumpy Christians”.  Listen as Pastor Randy talks about how God is interested in our joy and what real joy is.
Nehemiah 12:43 says…they offered great sacrifices and the joy was HEARD.

Great Faith – Rev. Tom Quinn

Luke 7:1-10
Great Faith’s Confidence – Great Faith in God’s Word – Great Faith in God not in circumstances.  Search your heart; are you living under God’s authority?  Know the Bible; if the Word has been spoken, then we better get to know it.  Don’t give up or give in if you are in difficult or seemingly impossible situations.

Lessons of the Wayward Son – Pastor Dean Welten

Luke 15:11-32
Wayward means willfully disobedient.
1. He treated his brother as a stranger, when they had the same father.  Malachi 2:10
2. He had grown accustomed to the benefits of being a son.  Matthew Henry said, “We are partakers of the same nature.  Therefore, we should be glad of any kindness and grace to us.”  How many times do we treat Jesus with contempt, as if He owes to us all we ask for.  Have we l

Promising the Impossible – Pastor Randy Raycroft

Genesis 18:1, 14; 17:1
It’s easy to give lip-service to extol God’s promises but harder to live by them?  There are three stages in any great work attempted for God:  impossible, difficult, done.  What is Faith? Faith is response to God’s Word; is not perfection; never gives up; is a gift of God; results in change; is demonstrated by obedience.
